however …that being said…i commend charlene…for her conversion and for her testimony….i believe that she felt gay….was gay…etc….but she had an experience spiritual that changed her and changed her life….

im sure she meant every work she did for lbgt but she has had a change in her spirit….and i dont think it should be a slap in the face for anyone….but all should be happy for her….all of us need to be closer to God and whose to say if we yeilded we wouldnt have a lot of changes in our lives as well….including and not excluding our sexuality….sexual feelings behaviours etc….

God can change a persons sexuality he can change attitutes toward sex as well as anything else…

i understand the work of the lbgt and agree that it has done much good to bring tolerance as well as attention to hate crimes etc… and i know the ‘church’ hasnt done much in the way of ministering to the heart of gay and lesbian people….but the ‘church’ is not God or Jesus….
it is a group of people who say they believe in Him but they often fail to show what He wanted them most to show most and that was His love…

yes He loves gays lesbians transgenders etc as much if not more than anyone else…He sees their pain confusion struggles and yes rejection….

i dont think she is condemning the feelings and/or even the lifestyles of anyone…she is only declaring what Christ….the real God ….has done for her in her life….29 years of being passionate for gay rights and she just changes?
that can only be God…

you said’ she is saying there is something wrong with us….” well honestly…there is something wrong with each and every one of us….we all need His grace and mercy….and healing and deliverance….

i know you dont believe change is possible for gays lesbians transgenders etc….BUT I BET SHE BELIEVED THE SAME THING….!!!

with God all things are possible ….even change….of anything including sexual orientation….

i know you and others may not be at that place where you see it …or believe it…or even care to….but that doesnt make it so

i do not feel God/Jesus condemns you or anyone…but the world…the church has… so you feel it is necessary to ‘fight for your rights’ and i understand that and in many ways i stand with you…

but the only thing i dont agree with in the gay agenda is that they seem to beleive or think that change is NOT possible….and like a street gang if you leave or have a change of heart….your NOT ALLOWED TO… youre a traitor…!!!….then youre attacked!

then the same rights you stood for…suddenly do not apply to that individual!!!???

there have been straight people who went gay….gay people say ‘oh well they were always gay’ ….ive heard gay people go straight and gay people say ‘ oh well they were always straight’….yet most gay people i know truly dont accept the concept of bisexual…because it does imply a choice….but i am attracted sexually and romantically to both ….it depends on the person…im not the kind of bisexual who has to have both at the same time….

straight people have and do accept someone saying ‘im gay’ even though they may have previously been seen as straight….

so why is it so hard for a gay person to accept that a person could ‘turn straight’ barring a spiritual experience or not….but especially WITH a spiritual experience…

i know some people are atheist…but thats a different story….they dont believe in God so they dont believe in spiritual experiences…..but for those of you who do believe and i know there are a lot of gay/lesbian people who are not only believers but really have been saved….my question is

WHY ISNT CHANGE POSSIBLE FOR ANYONE….INCLUDING/BUT ESPECIALLY HOMOSEXUALS….and you?

why do you feel so far above and /or beyond that….THAT meaning change….???

i agree that you cant pretend….or do it to please anyone else….or lie to yourself…yes i agree that is destructive… and has hurt many gay/lesbian/ transgenders…..BUT if GOD changes you….then you will know you have been changed….because you will remember your past….but you wont FEEL it… not the same as you did….and you dont have to worry about being a hypocrit to either God or the gay community…because He will work it all out for you…im both happy and grateful for charlene…and i wish her the best….
